Great company - Technical Lead Karabina Employee Review

Karabina really cares about their people. In most consulting companies you are just a body, at Karabina you are a person and a valued asset to the company. Their people management structure ensures that you are looked after in all aspects of your life from work life balance to your career and they really do listen. I love the freedom I have to grow in my career and the wide variety of technologies and projects I am involved in which keeps me motivated and excited. Most people who leave Karabina find themselves coming back. If Karabina finds that structures and processes are not working within the company, they have no problem changing things around, always trying to find a better way of doing things and keeping their staff happy, something that most companies would not even consider.

Whilst Karabina pays above market value, it would be nice to have some sort of bonus structure in place. I would like the opportunity to do some more advanced training than what is offered in-house.

Great company to work for, especially if career development is your focus. Access and exposure to all the new cutting edge technologies, some beta versions of new technology is made available to us for testing deployment etc. Also exposure to top people in their field of expertise. Being a Microsoft Gold partner, learning, certifications and up-skilling are fully supported. Being a consulting firm, regular access to people mangers (HR) makes any issues, queries, escalations, easy, and for many consultants who are at clients for long periods, this is important to feel part of the team. Senior Management is very strong and direction company is going has always been in good hands.
