Great office culture with flexible hours, but demanding role - Customer Service Representative Kappa Publishing Employee Review

Kappa Publishing Group,LLC and Kappa Books Publishers, LLC has been acquired by Keesing USA Holding Inc. The new Management style of Keesing is an employee centered environment. There is more emphasis on collaboration between all levels of the organization. Employees are encouraged to work together as a team to further the overall growth and direction of the company. With the new inclusion into a larger organization there are more opportunities for employee advancement and growth.

Since the acquisition we have not incurred any negative feedback from the employees.

Tribalism; secret and unshared information, some deception too. Lack of an established onboarding plan; training was ad hoc, and the trainer had either a constatly interrupted or a sparse availability. There were few introductions to others in the office, causing a sense of isolation. Technology issues; it was very difficult to gain access to databases and systems necessary for job duties
