Pros
- The team are a clever, hard working and welcoming bunch
- The environment is fast paced and pragmatic
- The tech stack is modern and enjoyable to work with. React native, GQL and AWS Fargate hosted Python/Django + .NET Core. CircleCI for CI/CD and terraform for IaC
- Mainly remote with semi regular meet-ups to socialise with colleagues
- Kantan's underlying goal is pretty noble; assisting OVO in driving progress towards net-zero carbon living. Good for people and the planet, gives you the warm and fuzzies
Cons
- I don't really have any gripes myself. Kantan definitely has a pragmatic 'startup' feel that'll appeal to some and not to others
