Nice work environment, but days can be boring - Retail Assistant Kaleido Employee Review

Hi, I am responsible for recruiting here at Kaleido. I realize my review will be viewed differently, but Glassdoor seems to be a place where people tend to air only their grievances and not as much positivity. I have been here for over 2 years at the time of this writing. I sincerely enjoy my time with the team, and even more so during 2020. Kaleido has a strong product and we are building a new path forward in the blockchain industry, we have challenging engineering problems and it takes hard work. Kaleido is my 3rd start-up, after Bronto Software (acquired by NetSuite for $200M), and Pendo (local SaaS Unicorn). Crunch times and big demands are real in any startup and we are no different there, but from my experience my team is a group of caring, respectful, resourceful humans, who all are motivated by our work and the impact our efforts will have for Kaleido and our industry. This isn’t for every person that has ever joined Kaleido, but for our small, and growing team I hope it continues to be the norm for us moving forward.

I don't see this as a con personally, I like having an office, but in 2020 with more remote work happening, we do want to eventually get back into working in the office on a more regular basis as soon as it is safe to do so, this is not going to be for everyone. Our environment is flexible and we do work from home, but being on a permanently remote basis is not our general vibe.
