Pros
Easy job. You are basically trouble shooting issues for technicians, rescheduling jobs for customers, and updating customers when the technician will be arriving.
Cons
Managers are terrible. They will throw you under the bus if they screw up. Coworkers tended to turn on each other over minor things like taking 30 seconds longer from your break. When a coworker screws up they punish everyone. Mangers tended to treat you like a child. Everyone seemed to be underpaid. Dispatch managers only made a two dollars more per hour than regular dispatchers. Overtime, while not forced, is often expected if you need to make money. Little room for advancement. Stories of other dispatch managers being at the company for over 5 years but never moved up in the company ladder. Issues arise when Brighthouse blames Kablelink for issues and Kablelink blames the manager for issues and the manager blames the dispatcher for issues. Extremely high turnover rate.
