Pros
KY Trade does not require a translation trial which most companies do seem to require. I usually refuse to take these assessment tests because they do not pay and therefore it is usually a waste of time. KY Trade does not ask its translators to take a trial test, but they will reject work if not satisfactory.
Cons
1) Payment is very slow 2) Payment schedule is not announced prior to delivery and they take advantage of that paying 2 months after delivery 3) Mistakes in your payment system (and they will not apologize) 4) Payment is made after holidays or weekends, not before (in Japan salary must be paid before the holiday by law) 5) The statement from KY-Trade does is unclear and may be incorrect 6) KY Trade require registration but they spam the translators with translation requests for non-related languages (i.e an English translator will be sent email requests for Portugese, etc.)
