Pros
Working at KVC is hard work but good work. I have worked nearly every job from case manager up to senior management, and have enjoyed the support, friendship, and mentorship I have received from KVC staff. Staff and leadership are supportive and willing to help. They take clinical work and care for families very seriously. If you are able to manage your time and love working with families to problem solve as a team, then this job is a great place! You get great opportunities to work with a variety of people and to learn about mental health and child welfare. The culture is supportive and fun. They take self and company improvement very seriously. Overall, I have really enjoyed my time with KVC.
Cons
This is not a con by any means but is important to know: KVC takes their work with families very seriously. Having strong ethics, good time management skills, and willingness to be flexible and meet families where they are is a must.
