Pros
Great place to start a career for the young professionals and build a solid resume. With the right mindset you can increase your knowledge/skills and broaden your exposure to the marketplace you wish to focus on. Can also develope great contacts within the industry you practice.
Cons
Very political and too much weighted on tenure versus skills/knowledge/accomplishments. I have to question the career development for certain areas within the firm. If you are not in the right circle of leaders and management it can be very hard to move up within the firm. I expected smart intellegient people to work with when i came here however i was very unimpressed with the level of knowledge and skills from both the staff as well as managers and even certain partners.
