Pros

Vacation days are generous during the holidays. Early career awards Many learning tools Smart colleagues Easy to network The brand name is good for your resume

Cons

They talk about diversity, but its mostly for a show. No Senior Associate, director or senior directors have a 50% diversity rate among them in Management Consulting. Promotion is scarce for people of color in their upper echelons 401k match minimal Work hours are alot, so make sure you negotiate the best salary you can upfront, as they are not known to give big increases or bonuses more than 7% for the hard work you do during the year and the hours spent. Depending on the team you join, it can be good or difficult for you. It seems the big 4 all spy on each other.

Pros

You get to work with an awesome, highly resilient group of local peers in the advisory practice. The KPMG brand still holds value, but the internal team dynamics have become incredibly fractured.

Cons

We have outsourced 80%+ of our Risk Advisory work, leaving onshore seniors with massive gaps in their experience. As a manager, I am stuck doing senior-level work because I typically have only one or zero local seniors or associates on my teams. The best leaders have already resigned because this model prevents actual management and mentoring. Also, it might take you 30+ years to become partner in Risk Advisory, if at all.
