Pros
At Klik you get to be part of the very initial stages of a fast-growing ad agency and help build the company from the ground up. Each employee has a clear opportunity to provide value immediately, and the CEO has instilled a culture where innovation is encouraged and welcomed. Training is hands-on and direct (as opposed to the large training classes in the corporate world where the material is mostly ignored), and employees at each level get started on client-facing work almost immediately. Klik provides an opportunity to learn, grow and make a direct impact not easily found at another company. Flexibility is also stressed (unlimited PTO) - mantra is as long as you're doing great work, you can do it on the schedule that works best for you.
Cons
Clear structure is not always in place in the work we're doing, leading to more ambiguous tasks and ad hoc views that need to be built. Standardized reporting that can scale has been a strong focus and something that we have drastically improved at since a year ago. Finding success at Klik requires you to be a self-motivated individual willing to take initiative to improve processes and suggest new ideas. It is not a role where the day-to-day is always the same and requires constant learning and pivoting to keep up.
Benefits are lacking as is typical of a startup at this stage, but health insurance was added in past year and 401k match hopefully coming soon. Salaries competitive with industry to attract the best talent.
