Pros
Remote/Flexible and Coworkers..... no additional pros
Cons
Most of the cons have already been noted in previous posts, so I will elaborate on some of the points made:
• Gaslighting and broken promises: Leadership often signals empathy and makes commitments that aren’t followed through. Roles are oversold during the hiring process.
• Favoritism: Personal relationships appear to drive special treatment and opportunities.
• Compensation: Pay is well below market for the workload and stress level.
• Workload: Constant influx of new contracts (often biweekly) without additional staffing.
• Management: Leads and managers frequently defer basic questions to subordinates and share inappropriate information (e.g. terminations and employee health details), which feels unprofessional and undermines trust.
• Lack of guidance: Employees are expected to solve complex tasks with little direction or support.
Bottom line: Between the heavy workload, low pay, and management issues, I would not recommend working at Kentech Consulting.
