Pros
Remote so luckily you don’t have to see people in person very often bc some of them are unbearable.
Cons
You will be fired on the spot without an option to clarify or defend yourself. Management will blindly accept the word of others against you. You will be blindsided by the termination of your contract. There will be no warnings or coaching or guidance or even a hint of performance review until you are basically having an impromptu exit interview that is completely a one way conversation. Don’t even bother trying to add to the conversation. You won’t be heard. When they say constructive feedback they mean Criticism that is not constructive or justified or even accurate.
Some people are really great but they aren’t high enough up in the org to make a difference when it comes to decisions being made.
If you are hired as a contractor you will be expected to perform beyond your contract and their expectations for a x hours/week contract is basically that you are a full time non-contracted, salaried employee without any of the benefits. Full time employees will pass their work off on to you and blame you if you aren’t able to complete THEIR job duties in their set time frame even if you have used up all of your contracted hours for that week.
You should be a mind-reader because you will not know or be told what is expected. They set you up for failure.
It’s a 99% all women staffed agency that is very clique-y and has an overall feeling of “mean girl” mentality on the higher levels.
Illogical people, People who say “I’m a straight shooter”, this is code for, “I’m an unreasonable outrightly rude person, who is always right no matter what.”
