Pros
I really appreciate the people I work with. 95% of the people I've worked with have been friendly, and helpful with explaining issues/problems. The work-life balance is really great too. 9/80 schedule helps with that, but for the most part, there is an atmosphere here of getting things done as time permits, not destroying yourself, working all night just to get a report (however important it may be) in the next day, for an overly ambitious schedule
Cons
Many people have left to get larger salaries elsewhere. It seems like we are not as current on paying the proper market value. Definitely a "good 'ol boy" type atmosphere, but that can turn to your advantage if you understand it, which is at least predictable. Getting good direction in your career is also a bit tough (though, most people don't realize this is something that should be driven from within).
