Pros
My job role and line manager allows me the freedom and autonomy to be able to do my job without interference. I have a good work life balance and am trusted to deliver my workload efficiently within my limitations and am allowed the ability to work from home as often as required. In the majority, suggestions and decisions are listened to however there is a slow uptake on execution in certain changes however I believe this is due to time more than an unwillingness.
Cons
The benefits are below par in comparison to every other company I have worked for and the holiday allocation is also below standard. I also don't believe that the holiday allocation is taken into consideration depending on your level within the business and the numbers of hours or level or responsibility that you have. Communication still requires work although we have seen significant improvements over the past 6 months, even more so throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. There is also a lack on accountability and consequence across the business which would help push the business to be more competitive. Certain behaviours that demonstrate poor culture are still present throughout individuals within the company which can make collaboration a challenge and demonstrate a resistance to change.
