Pros
Salary and benefits are good for senior people. Office is a good location and nice. People who actually do the work are nice to work with. Opportunities to own problem solving.
Cons
CPO and CTO pretend to get along but pull in different directions. One is more politically savvy than the other so gets their way. During redundancy, people in my department who were let go were all non white or neurodivergent or had mental health issues. Coincidence? Hiring is done based on more of the same - if you stand out you don’t fit in and will soon be let go.
