Pros
I'm very happy with my particular team and supervisor. The company has recently changed CEOs and already we're seeing some exciting changes including project completion bonuses and company profit sharing. I feel like an important member of my team, and I have been rewarded for hard work with pay raises and more trust. Once I had a good idea with my role, my supervisor has been pretty flexible for the times I need to help out with my family and is mostly concerned about the work I complete and not so much with the hours I'm in the office. Being able to travel also helps from getting too bored from being in an office every day.
Cons
Expensive healthcare, no 401K, onboarding/training is unstructured and puts most of the responsibility on the new employee. I felt confused and didn't have a good idea of my role for about 1 year. Documentation is incomplete and it's unclear who is responsible for creating clear, organized documentation.
