JWAC has a great mission which allows smart people from nearly any scientific or engineering discipline to be creative and make a real difference for the Warfighter. the work is very interesting and rewarding. You will learn amazing things that can help you in other jobs.
Cons
Every layer of management is inept, paranoid, and hypocritical. they always ask the workforce for feedback but DO NOT ANSWER. It is trick, they will crucify you if you respond.
Human Resources is a total joke and only does what management tells them to do. you have no allies or advocates, so DON'T MAKE WAVES. The entire workforce is kept ignorant of merit system principles, prohibited personnel practices, and appeal/advocacy processes, so if you get into any kind of trouble LAWYER UP IMMEDIATELY.
