Pros

It is easy to turn down shifts if you cannot work on a certain day.

Cons

Some of the managers in charge just seem to enjoy shouting at waiting staff; there seems to be a hierarchy, even within those who get paid the same amount. The kitchen staff are treated with some respect, whereas, for the most part, the waiting staff are treated very poorly.

Pros

So far good, efficient agency. They send shifts once a week by text and you can pick which ones you want to do. Perfect if like me you are looking for something flexible to work around other priorities. They have asked how my shifts have gone which I appreciate, and reply very quickly to queries.

Cons

Jobs2Go only provide waiting staff to the events. The managers that work for Seasoned Events who run the actual events have been honestly awful. Only one has had the right attitude so far. Others have been rude, disrespectful, bad mannered and bicker between themselves. One tells you one thing, another tells you another thing, there seems to be a constant tug of war between managers over power. Makes a simple job over complicated. One manager had the worst behaviour I have ever seen in my working life, it was disgraceful, I'm not allowed to use profanities so I can't repeat what he said.

Pros

Based close to Liverpool street station

Cons

Lack of management, no system to work on, everything is done on excel spreadsheet (bookings and assigning staff) , you need to know all the staff from the top of your head as no one keeps track of how many staff (waiters etc) is employed. No Health and Safety certificates in majority of cases, most of the staff has no experience within catering sector. All the ideas to improve are ignored by manager. No bonus scheme in place. Manager has no catering and hospitality background and has no idea what she's doing.
