Pros
You can gain some good recruiting experience but if you stay too long you are wasting your life. Also, if you love to suck up then this is the right place for you. There are some really good people who are partners but majority are money hungry and will use you to get what they want.
Cons
Where to begin!!! Low pay, expected to work around the clock, some partners are way under qualified and too inexperienced to do what they do. These young partners will also forget they did your job in the past and talk down to you and treat you like crap! Management has no control. The owners are blood sucking vampires who have a ton of privilege and won’t even acknowledge an employee unless they make the firm lots of money (and maybe not even then). This is a rich white person firm and lacks diversity. No professional development. Sink or swim (or suck up). They give management and corporate employees over inflated titles and pay them next to nothing. No culture outside of work hard and make other people as much money as you can. They will sell you on opportunity that doesn’t actually exist. Don’t let them pretend you will like this job.
