Pros

You pick your hours so that is nice, setting your own schedule. They pay you, another great perk. You work with great people, all the team members struggling with you to get through creates great bonds.

Cons

They know that you need the job too much to argue with any of the crappy treatment you'll be sure to receive, long shift and hours, poor employee retention, no employee appreciation, just a really unpleasant work experience over all. Person in Charge works more than any other person on the shift they manage, yet the drivers go home with more money than them every shift because PICs are under paid. Bonuses that you're suppose to receive due to high corporate scores and peak scores are sometimes used to buy new equipment for the store instead of being distributed amongst the managers. Some managers sleep on the job or act in appalling ways yet they receive no punishment due to the relationship they have inappropriately established with the owners of the store. You only receive a free meal if you work ten straight hours, so even if you've been there for eight hours you'll get no break or food. SO MANY OSHA VIOLATIONS. Was once forced to work in a state of emergency, every place including chains like McDonald's had shut down, but we had to stay open and deliver on unplowed roads until close. Was denied my workman's comp when I cut myself at work and had to go to the ER for stitches because the manager on duty was drunk and forgot to file an incident report.

Pros

Good pay, if there aren't too many drivers, and you're at a good place for lunch, you can expect to make around $50 in tips per day or more, and get reimbursed for mileage. The people there can be hit or miss, some people can be very fun to work with and responsible.

Cons

The upper management can be lead with too many sensitive women, who don't know how to diagnose situations properly, and take the side of the immature employees who get offended way too easily. The co-workers can be very young and irresponsible, but this is par for the course for food places if you don't have strong leadership.
