Pros

Free lunch on Thursday. The rest of my time I never wanted to come to work. This was a result of their overall culture.

Cons

The management will cut staff at the drop of a hat, with no warning. Jim earned his reputation for being ruthless in business, its not overblown. The location is unique but it's crap when compared against the city. Only good for locals. His manager's are totally under his thumb, it's a complete dictatorship. They'll never say no or protect their staff. It's Jim's way or nothing. I encourage anyway considering an offer to visit news articles around franchisor disagreements and his encouragement to franchisees to work through covid restrictions. Jim will come into the office and cause a storm of chaos due to a customer complaint and why it hasnt been sorted, which means managers are on edge at times. Also, none of them ever stand up to him and he won't listen anyway. The atmosphere in the call centre feels like a funeral home, there is no happiness there. The other offices departments are no better from what colleagues have told me. Jim considers his word law and won't listen to anything otherwise.

Pros

Thursday lunch was supplied which was pretty good

Cons

There was no help with your job from the start, no guidance whats so ever. Other co-workers would try to help but they were swamped as well. Management was useless. The COO has the emotional intelligence of a sock. Way in over his head. You could never get him when you needed him. The Sales process was lengthy, with no guidance made it incredibly hard. I had a 5 hour dispute over email to get commission i was owed because accounts didnt know sales was supposed to get commission until they heard it from COO. No one seems to know what they are doing. Every one was talking behind each other's back and the turn over of employees was mental. In my first 8 weeks 3 were walked out and 3 others quit from what I expect was burnout.

Pros

Flexible work hours, work independently, and get to manage your own schedule.

Cons

No actual support from the head office. High fees, no training, no technical help. They always blame franchisees and never listen. Even unfair customer complaints are pushed to you, and they never help you get paid.
