Interesting Concepts But Poor Management - Engineer JetPack Aviation Employee Review

Management seemed very resistant to organization and structure that professional engineers would follow. Communication and planning was very poor. It is a very top down organization with very little interest from management to listen to the engineers about ways to improve designs or processes which often lead to inefficient work and low quality designs as well as the engineers feeling very undervalued and underutilized. There was little to no interest to follow a professional design process, which is surprising considering they're trying to design a complex aircraft. Pay is very low for the area and benefits are minimal barely covering health insurance and no 401K.
