Pros
If you are an individual who doesn’t mind following inefficient systems that are already in place, you may do well here. Otherwise, this company will at least give you an idea of what not to put up with at your next company.
Cons
If you are a recent graduate or young professional, consider looking to start your career elsewhere. The marketing department wastes time and money chasing leads through “silly” campaigns. You will be surprised at the lack of data analysis and purposeful marketing strategy. There is seemingly no calculated decision making in this department and many large decisions are based on leadership “feeling” alone. As for leadership, I felt I was micromanaged and expected to perform far beyond my extremely low pay. Management in my department were not knowledgeable, often going off of a “this is how we’ve always done things” attitude. The culture is questionable at best. The CEO is not a good example of the values that the company is founded on and leadership/employees follow suit. Do yourself a favor and start your marketing career at a reputable company.
