Pros

Flexible work schedule, excellent PTO and health benefits, and a great product.

Cons

Over the past year, the company has been steadily declining and becoming increasingly chaotic due to major changes, making it difficult for employees to keep up. It feels as if they’re intentionally making it harder to sell and earn commissions—possibly to encourage attrition rather than conducting another round of layoffs. Rumors are swirling, particularly about a potential RTO mandate, which would be unpopular since many employees joined Jamf for its remote flexibility. Some employees aren’t located near an office. Again, it seems like a deliberate move to push people out. Leadership has been poor, and the company no longer feels like a place where employees can grow. While there’s a lot of talk about diversity and inclusion, in practice, those who don’t fit the stereotypical mold often feel othered. It’s unfortunate, as this was once a company I was proud to work for.

Jamf Response
1y
Jamf remains a company that embraces both hybrid and remote work. In order to better serve our customers, our go-to-market employees who are near a Jamf office are onsite 3 days a week of their choosing to bring those teams together who facility our customer journey. The secret to our success lies in our connectivity, while still operating with a high degree of flexibility. Work-life balance remains our priority while feeling connected is important to maintain our strong culture, achieve our goals, and thrive as #OneJamf. We take concerns of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging very seriously, and we are committed to providing an inclusive and equitable workplace for all. We encourage all employees to reach out directly to HR so we can better understand and address issues where they exist.

Pros

Benefits, culture, and community drive Jamf. Pay can always be better, but is fair to the market.

Cons

Some growing pains recently, maturing from a start-up to a stable company with new technology, such as AI, competing with internal resources.

Pros

Benefits are pretty much the only positive at this point. Working hybrid is nice, but pales when we used to be fully remote with no issues.

Cons

The senior managers of Technical Support are driving this org into the ground. Employees are no longer a human, no longer an employee; we are now just numbers. KPI requirements have gotten ridiculous requiring employees to almost literally fight over available work to make ourselves look better. Its a complete sham, a numbers game. There are those of us that are legitimately here for our users and administrators, but the quantity of work has vastly outweighed the quality.
