Pros

Remote Work Test Devices Co-Workers are outstanding minus hit or miss with leadership. Get to email and zoom. Don't have to take calls unless service desk (like once a quarter for extra pay)

Cons

During Live Escalation I was left to work over 4 hours in a row and ended up seeing double and almost passed out on the job due to no food. I repeated asked for help for the customer and due to how I was feeling. After contacting 8 managers over a hours worth of time and no one would help or respond. I decided to call it quits for the day. I let them know but they had no clue. They only found out after I filled a complaint and followed up with leadership when I got back. Glad I was not someone who needed real medical help. Kind of odd they would be so out of touch to let poeple having health problems just possibly die at their desk. HR did nothing about this after filing the complaint. This brings me to the point. Jamf leadership is overworked and a disaster. Jamf is falling apart and has the wrong higher up leadership that is not right for the size of the company it has become. They need people who know what they are doing, how to allocate resources, and listen to feedback. Jamf is Growing rapidly but bleeding people due to poor resource allocation and compensation. Below Market Compensation and favors midwest people over more expensive markets. I was a top 3 performer and people with half the results I had were making much more than me. Jamf was unable to do a market adjustment due to rapid growth and cant accommodate individuals. Too busy for people to function. I found a job for 15k more and it is easier. Training when you start but they do not invest much in training and development after the fact. You wont be quality checked on knowledge and asked to do a large amount of third party work with no training or environments. This can be a plus if you work well with peers and utilizing your resources in slack. However, this is not sustainable and so much time is wasted reinventing the wheel due to a lack of resources or knowledge. Very tone deaf towards diversity. Expect to be dead named regularly and passed up on Job opportunities. This was not my scenario but saw this regularly. It was mind blowing. They used seasons of love from RENT to announce they are no longer covering covid pay. So many weird things like this happened here and I cant place how this is happening. I have worked for multiple other tech companies from large to start ups of 100. This place was the wild west.

Thank you for providing feedback; employee feedback is very important to us. We wanted to take the opportunity to address some points raised in your review. We take employee health, wellbeing and safety seriously and upon the HR investigation offered solutions to modify shift schedules going forward to make sure these concerns did not reoccur. We were not made aware of concerns of deadnaming of colleagues in the investigation, and we appreciate you raising these concerns because we cannot address specific issues we don’t know about. Please provide more detail so that we can look into these issues and take appropriate action under our anti-discrimination policies. You also provided feedback on compensation. We continue to build structure and stability as we settle into the growth and success of our company, including ongoing reviews and market adjustments of compensation benchmarks to ensure competitive total compensation.

Pros

Jamf, during my time there, was a really great place to be. I felt that the community and company culture were very supportive, and your responsibilities were clearly outlined. When I was hired, there was still a lot of fun to be had with the company. Offsites were great, team meetings were a lot of fun, and it made you want to sign in to work every day.

Cons

Towards the end of my time at Jamf, after a series of acquisitions, it was difficult to keep up with the different silos of technology we were responsible for as experts. Plus, compensation increases had largely gone away. It was difficult to get a promotion or raise, and towards the very end, there was a looming threat of a layoff over your head most of the time.
