Pay raises unless you are a “company man”. Ability to move up. They like to keep you where you’re at and not teach you anything new or even see what other skills and knowledge you have. Project managers, project engineers, Superintendence and Formans love to hold you down and doing want you to be a threat to their position. They along with the office will blatantly lie to your face even over things that are common knowledge
