Pros
I enjoyed the time working at JAMBOX, because of the warm, family type environment created by both workers and employers, which is evident in the way they get along with each other. I also liked the flexibility in working times, which made it possible for me as well as the other workers to attend personal affairs when needed. Effective and efficient communicating via notes, email, texting and phones are use to keep connected. This is a good practice.
The workers are skilled and knowledgeable at their jobs. Management complements the them when they do a good job, and also bring to their attention their failures with the intention to bring about learning in the specific area.
At the end of the internship program, interns leave with an overall understanding or experience, or both, in business activities.
Cons
The office space is small, thus there is a lot of clutter, which could be a turnoff to clients who may pay attention to this when they enter the lobby area. Working space is limited.
