Pros
Lovely colleagues in middle management and below, with opportunities to engage with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Cons
Working at JUMP! will make you question the driving factors behind the executive team's decisions and their intrinsic values. There is a real lack of transparency and integrity within the organization, leading to constant communication struggles. Despite its claims of being a social enterprise, JUMP! operates on capitalist values, often greenwashing its initiatives and relying on extractive principles. The organization has a high turnover of passionate employees, and it's clear why once you spend some time internally. The culture is marked by micro-management and a low level of trust. There is a relentless drive for expansion, which seems delusional given the lack of foundational building blocks. The curriculum/program development and design are outdated and far from innovative, with practices that can feel almost colonial. You will not be set up for success at JUMP!. Although they claim to be 'people-first,' the reality is that they may exploit contractual terms and provide insufficient support regarding immigration and other essential policies to protect their employees. Proceed with caution if considering a position here.
