Location: most of my colleagues were residing in New Mumbai area, nowhere else can you find such a location to stay while working in steel manufacturing.
Open door policy: The HR team is very cooperative and are ready to address any sort of grievances.
Competitive remuneration package: I shifted from Jindal Steel & Power Ltd to ISPAT, the package on offer was substantially better.
Cons
Internal Politics in play at the time of quarterly appraisal, though I never faced it myself but a few colleagues complained about it.
No meritocracy: The promotions take place just like in PSU's. You'll be promoted to next level no matter what in 3-4 years. There is no place for meritocracy.
