Pros

I honestly can't think of any. A few co-workers were nice, but high turnover. The industry was new to me so I did learn quite a bit.

Cons

This is a family-run business, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I realize. But there's no one outside their family you can go to in order to resolve a conflict. I do realize that you have no way of knowing if I'm the problem or they are, but I left (I was not fired) after working there for more than 3 years. I tried to get out sooner, but needed to have another job lined up. My mental health took a huge hit working here, and it's affected my confidence and self-worth still, several years after leaving. The office manager micro-manages, and if they notice the owner is treating other staff badly does nothing to intervene. Very passive aggressive. The owner is reactionary, uses insane double standards depending on his mood (which could fluctuate quickly), does not trust employees, gaslights, and is generally a giant walking red flag. I was accused of lying to serve my own purposes (rather than an honest mistake/ misunderstanding), and when I told the owner that was a serious accusation and it was unfair, he told me "that sounds like your problem not mine".
