Pros

NONE. Bad management makes for bad company

Cons

Absolutely the worst company to ever work for. The FJR department has the rudest management. They do not care about their employees. They only care about the production numbers. You cannot put Jewelry Repair in a production category. To have true quality jewelry repair, it takes time and skills. Those skills do not exist with JCPenney management. They would rather have their numbers met each week than to have higher quality standards. I have watched them plate a silver ring Rose gold just to ship it out. Or Glue a stone in place just to ship it out! Rather than call the customer, explain the delays for a better quality. Only one manager in the FJR department has ever worked on the bench doing repairs. The others have absolutely no clue what they are doing. Most definitely the department head. He is the worst person for that position. JcPenneys will go under with people like him being in the management position. I truly feel sorry for the employees that have been with this company for years. Most of them are Jewelers or leads. The turn over rate for this company is at the Highest level. I can definitely see why now. Very very poor management throughout the entire company!

Pros

Cons

As a Cashier or Omni associate they don't take you seriously. Leadership loves to play hot potato with responsibilities and many times cashiers gets stuck with it. When dealing with angry customers they the managers don't show up or completely undermine you making you look like an ___.
