Pros
I can’t think of anything aside from growing my network and acquiring additional experience
Cons
This job is at best incredibly tedious and laborious because the systems are archaic and you will be limited to manual ways of working and at worst crazy-making because of the political minefields you’ll be forced to navigate day in and out. There is no hour of the day or day of the week that the majority of people aren’t working. It’s a very rigid company culture that is out of touch with the modern workplace that is more flexible and results oriented. I lasted less than three months. Maybe you’ll fare better if you don’t mind logging in by 8 AM and working well into the evening. The adage work smarter not harder applies to this company. It’s not hard to understand why it’s been on the brink for years and trying to claw its way back from irrelevancy post-bankruptcy.
