Pros
If you’re looking to sell something that actually matters to large organizations, procurement tech might not sound sexy, but it’s one of the most impactful tools you can sell. Ivalua touches every corner of the business. The ROI for customers makes it easier to earn trust and dig into more meaningful bi-directional conversations rather than having to give one-sided sales pitches.
Company has been a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader for 9 years and earned that spot by prioritizing quality over hype. The engineering and product teams are meticulous, which means fewer customer issues and greater long-term satisfaction which is nice since from my past companies I tend to see enterprise customers, in general, being very demanding post sale.
The company is continuing to grow significantly while many SaaS companies are seeing deal cycles stall or pipeline dry up.
Sales leadership provides a good balance between giving me the tools and coaching I need to succeed while giving me the autonomy to develop my own selling style.
Cons
The marketing budget isn’t as large or flashy as some of the other competitors in the space, but the in-bound lead flow has been surprisingly consistent and strong.
