Start-up environment is not for the faint of heart

This was a good place for me to learn recruiting, and I was able to network with some cool people. The work life balance is fine

Leadership doesn't communicate with you about anything, we were in the dark a lot of the time until major changes happened. They also picked favorites, and I unfortunately wasn't one of them, even though I put in the same amount of hard work. As a male, I felt like they treated me better than some of my female coworkers - I wouldn't want my wife working here for that reason. Overall, I didn't feel appreciated, I was constantly worried about the status of my job, and if you don't match the mold of what they want you to be like, you're treated differently.
