Pros

Client portfolio is good, with a mix of fun and challenging projects. The agency is staffed by brilliant, kind people at all levels. Much more collaborative than cutthroat or competitive. Engineers, designers, and other specialists are all very talented. The project/account managers are thoughtful, resourceful, and respectful of specialists and each other. All around it is a truly impressive group of people. The working environment was on the more fun, casual end of the spectrum but everyone still cared about producing quality work.

Cons

High turnover means assignments shuffle constantly and resource forecasting is non-existent, despite the best efforts of PM staff. Management shies away from investing in basic collaboration software leading to siloed communication and disjointed processes. A small number of people have a thorough understanding of the products and services, which led to extra responsibilities and unreasonably long hours. Leadership is both micromanaging and checked out. There is a disconnect between their expectations of employees and themselves. The CEO is bright but barely available and extremely unprofessional in handling of client matters. The VP is an impulsive micromanager with no understanding of the work outside of sales. There is an obvious pattern overbilling and hassling clients about scope, all while looking for shortcuts, to the detriment of everyone involved.

Pros

- Amazing expertise of all of the team - The culture puts people first with an understanding around needing to a take a sick day, pickups from school, and general well being - Interesting work and a great list of clients across diverse industries mean the work is never boring. - A strong commitment to diversity and equality in all things made me feel welcome.

Cons

- As the team are truly global sometime scheduling a call can be a bit difficult.

Pros

My first foray into the agency world after spending the majority of my career in-house. I must say, that it is fun and challenging. I'm responsible for managing and leading a talented group of Strategist, UX Designers, and Visual Designers. We focus on product discovery and design projects for clients, from various industries. We help clients address their most pressing business objectives. Through understanding our client's goals and their customers' problems, we ideate, prototype and test solutions to come up with the best possible MVP solution. Isadora is a great partner in every essence. As our Chief Creative Officer, she is detailed oriented, supportive, thoughtful in her feedback, and a visionary for each client. She looks to ensure that each clients' design is unique and distinctive—a signature approach for Isadora. I, as the agency's UX Director, work to ensure that we address user needs and goals. I ensure that the work we produce delights users with engaging interactions, and a memorable experience that creates an emotional connection.

Cons

We are growing and there is a lot of work. So there are growth pains that is challenging us to stick to our process or optimize it to scale and adjust more effectively. We need to hire more talented people to support the various work we have going.
