Pros

Flexible working hours - can choose when you would like to work; can cancel/book shifts last minute Pay was good. The work is fairly straightforward and some jobs offer bonuses.

Cons

Only offered shifts if you are doing well - days off for sickness can mean not being offered shifts. Supervisors can be friendly but then suddenly aggressive if you are confused or not having a good day on getting interviews. People can be abusive over the phone - I had a few encounters with men making inappropriate sexual comments. The management staff were very odd, mostly you didn't interact with the heads of the office, however, the female boss, at the time, made it clear she did not like young girls and would make you feel very uncomfortable and make comments about what you were wearing despite the company having no strict dress code. The male supervisors were very creepy, older men (30-40+) trying to date 18 year olds that worked under them. Made you feel like you didn't have much of a choice than to just deal with their advances. A male supervisor told me that as interesting of a person that I was to speak to that men only care about my breasts. Aggressive male supervisors on power trips, many also seemed to have drug problems and cocaine use was discussed frequently in the office.
