Pros

Higher level management is experienced and genuinely nice, but seem disconnected from reality.

Cons

Doesn't feel like a startup. Very corporate style politics where managers who manage people don't do much work and don't get along with other groups. The company hires people by telling them that they will work on things that will progress their career but instead puts them to work on things that older employees don't want to do, so that the older employees don't leave. People generally feel taken advantage off since once their skills are used their careers are abandoned. There is also a lot of background gossip and mockery by managers. People get ahead not by doing good work but by doing their managers work. There is also no HR in the company which causes poor culture.

Pros

Our CEO was phenomenal - smart, easy going, moved quickly, and trusted his team to deliver by giving them autonomy to own their expertise. He built a tremendous culture and work environment that was exciting, challenging, and fun.

Cons

We were acquired so the great culture our CEO built was no longer in tact.

Pros

I joined as CEO of Invoice2go in April of 2014 to work alongside our founder Chris Strode to further our mission of helping small businesses in more than 25 countries. Most simply, our product helps small businesses to improve their cash flow by getting paid faster and save time too. We’re genuinely a mobile first company that is creating leading edge products to benefit our users. I’m now coming up on my one year anniversary and I am having a great time working with this great group in four offices around the world. When considering Invoice2go, I was focused on finding a company that had a great product where I could positively impact the culture but I also wanted to have a good time along the way. I walk into the office each day knowing that my colleagues are smart, unique and fun. As we’ve grown I think we’ve done a nice job of keeping a good company vibe where individuals can thrive. Most of my days are filled with meeting different people and I try to stress prioritization, clear goals and a team oriented environment. I try to support everyone here to accomplish their near term objectives but also their career development goals. Anyone interested in making a big impact at a fast growing company would do well at Invoice2go.

Cons

Having a global footprint requires some extra effort from everyone on the team to keep communication and alignment strong.
