Pros

First of all, Invado is a smaller company. Those who are used to working at the huge consulting shops might not like the environment and impact you can have at a smaller consultancy. I, for one, love it! I get to work with interesting clients and do very impactful work every day. My surrounding team is technical and some of the best at what they do. Unlike many other shops, the work here isn't simply transactional. It actually feels like I'm building relationships with our clients. Not to mention, the pay is great and I'm not working 60 to 80 hour weeks.

Cons

This is a smaller company. That comes with some challenges as far as process, benefits, etc. The trade off is autonomy and getting to be strategic!

Pros

A smaller company with a great team that feels like working with a family. Working together as a team and collaborating with the team has been a rewarding experience. A variety of clients and industries keep the work ever-changing and very interesting with new challenges. You get to learn more about how different industries are utilizing the technology. The CEO has been fun to work with and cares about our growth, providing us excellent opportunities to challenge ourselves.

Cons

Being a smaller company means the opportunity to grow and challenge yourself, but also means one should be comfortable wearing different hats. Multiple clients can be tough to manage at first especially if you are used to working in-house on one client, but a good system is in place to make it more manageable. The team is fully remote - if you want an office to work in, this isn't the right place for you.

Pros

Individual benefits were not bad.

Cons

Do not work here. The financial success described during the interview was grossly overstated, as evidenced by the numerous layoffs this year. The optimistic financial figures discussed in the interview led me to accept a compensation structure dependent on profits that, regrettably, did not reflect the company’s actual financial situation. Additionally, the frequent promises of extra support, which never materialized due to the company’s contract failures and financial troubles, directly led to a severe lack of resources. This, in turn, resulted in my being severely overworked, as I struggled to compensate for the shortfall in support. That family benefits were so expensive I had to purchase my own at a great expense. I regret taking this job.
