Pros
You’re not stuck in an office surrounded by four walls. Foremen can almost make their own hours by working more effectively to get done early. Or using the full shift to make sure things are done perfectly. Per diem and hotel accommodations made for when traveling. Technicians and Foreman do not need specific experience to be hired.
Cons
It’s the service industry, so nobody really wants to work. Many clients need work done after hours. Second shift indoor weekends. Foreman and technicians do not need experience which opens the pool of people to be hired, but it also means that everybody needs trained all the time.
