Lots of autonomy and problem solving Plenty of opportunities to try out new skills and learn hardware

Some outdated paperwork and workflow methods. Maybe typical of small companies.

People there seem nice at first.

HR is horrible. All she wants to do is gossip, and I mean BIG time. I ignored it at first, but it began to make me feel uncomfortable. She also likes to express her political views, which I usually don't mind, but I feel as though someone who works for Human Resources shouldn't really be taking sides with things or at least express it. I normally don't like to throw anyone under the bus like this but it was a real problem.
