Pros
-nearly everyone I worked with was talented, smart and nice. Just lovely people to work with. -free lunch that IMHO tastes good
Cons
-doesn't pay nearly as much as like, the most Random Start-up in London -depending on what team you're in, you might have very different experiences. some level of standards would be nice -people who work hard and do a great job are made to feel like they have to strive harder for a promotion. i still don't know if this is a trick to underpay people or not. -during my tenure there they brought a "terminal levels" rule that involves getting Fired unless you Get Promoted - combined with the "it's hard to get promoted" bit I mentioned above, it really just meant firing a bunch of people. -While revenue might have gone up the vibes have gone Down. like, they have achieved a palpable vibe shift in 1 year -the CEO is either an islamophobe or has had the misfortune of coming across like one on multiple occasions. hope he finds tolerance within his soul and/or the willpower to tweet less
