Pros

Intercom is a really great company to work for. It is a small company, so you have direct management access all the way up to the CEO. I have worked for large and medium sized companies in the past and had little to no communication with upper management. The management at Intercom encourages your professional development and the company provides education reimbursement to assist with the costs associated. They also provide annual raises (even in this economy), excellent medical insurance and retirement benefits.

Cons

The one thing I wish Intercom provided was free online learning services like SkillSoft. That was available at the large company I worked for and was very useful. Fortunately, since Intercom does provide education reimbursement, I am able to take in class or online courses that I'm interested in as long as they are within my field, so not having access to an online learning service is not that big of a deal.
