Intercept Health

Is this your company?

Faith based company, with homophobic values. If that doesn’t bother you, you will be fine. - Anonymous employee Intercept Health Employee Review

Pros

Many of the staff and front line supervisors have amazing knowledge and heart.

Cons

Upper management (regional level and director level - in this department - and above) represents some of the most disconnected and apathetic individuals I have encountered. HR is hobbled due to lack of support for change that assists the staff, and the company as a whole utilizes a state-sanctioned discrimination law, allowing them to ban LGBTQ parents from fostering, based on Judeo-Christian beliefs (and this is not the only company that honors it, but the review is about them).

Pros

Plenty of direct hours available. Centers are converted houses, providing plenty of space to spread out for sessions. Paid holidays. Great place for seasoned RBTs, flexible daily schedules for clients providing more freedom for teaching and learning during sessions. No in-home sessions, Monday through Friday.

Cons

Zero training, lack of leadership and consistency. If you are not already an RBT not the place to start. Low standards for 1:1 sessions. Stress levels are mostly due to qualified or caring staff feeling undervalued due to lack of accountability for poor performance of others. Each center has different values and cultures. Pay is not determined by ability, merit raises not given, pay is the same amount for everyone no matter what education, experience or work ethics they have.
