While we respect everyone’s right to share their experiences, we feel it’s important to offer our perspective to those who may be reading it.
It's upsetting and disheartening to hear the claims made here, and we want to be clear—this is not who we are, and this is not what we stand for. We have never received a formal or informal discrimination complaint at Interactive Strategies. Nor have we ever taken any retaliatory action against any employee for raising concerns or making a complaint. Period.
As an LGBTBE-owned agency, creating a workplace where everyone feels safe, supported, and empowered to show up as their true selves has always been fundamental to the values this agency was built on.
The accusations in the review run counter to everything we believe in and strive for every day. I know our entire team, at every level, is deeply committed to maintaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment, as demonstrated by the incredible work of our DEIB committee and the many ideas and efforts they've implemented to make this a better place.
While we recognize that we still have work to do in increasing diversity across the company, our broad efforts have led to meaningful results, including the elevation of three women into key Director roles—a reflection not of quotas, but of our commitment to empowering talented individuals and creating pathways for growth. Today, nearly 60% of our Directors and above are women. In the same period, we've hired nine full-time employees and two interns who identify as people of color—demonstrating our continued commitment to building a more diverse team. We know ensuring an inclusive workplace is an ongoing journey, and we will continue listening, learning, and improving at every step.
To those considering working with us or joining our team, we encourage open conversations and welcome the opportunity to demonstrate how seriously we take our values. After all, the heart of our culture is that "everyone deserves to come to work and be happy." And to those who have been a part of our journey—past or present—we genuinely hope they’ve found their happiness.
