Pros

Coworkers are all experienced individuals with a variety of stock market experience, you can learn from them. Management is very competent. The pay increases substantially, as long as you do your job well. Very generous cash bonus + stock bonus. Modern Chicago Office. Lunch credit. Almost never work late, and never worked a weekend. They support you in your professional development. CEO seems like a cool dude. Every federal holiday off (including Juneteenth, Presidents Day, MLK, Good Friday).

Cons

First year pay was low, but it is experience based,. First year PTO is not much (12-14 days depending on hiring date). They are very strict on in-office days being accounted for. QA team is not consistent.

Pros

Good benefits (50% up to 5% 401k match, paid lunches, fully paid medical plan). Work-life balance is decent; it's rare to be asked to work more than a 45-hour week. It's a good place to break into fintech, particularly in client services.

Cons

A largely uncollaborative and sometimes toxic corporate culture outside of client services. Unless your name carries weight with management, your colleagues, even at lower levels, can be unresponsive or downright hostile, making it difficult to accomplish anything. Upward mobility and career development opportunities are limited, which reflects the company’s focus on automation and a lean operating model.
