I would like to provide our side of this story as this employee has given false information. As far as an employee bringing her son to work - it didn't happen the 2 days this person set foot in our office however when a single mother has an issue with a babysitter, we do allow them to bring in their child instead of making them miss a day's pay. We do this because we do care about our employees and know that they have a life outside of work - especially with single mothers we offer this option as a courtesy. The person writing this review was in a training class with 3 other people, all of whom are still with the company and doing well. Her claim of having dirty dishes all over the front desk & that one of her co-workers laughed at the fact she was on food stamps are untrue & she's just trying to stir up drama. I spoke to everyone in that training class and not one of them heard anyone laughing at her situation. All of that being said, this person did not take the job seriously from the beginning & the 3 others in training complained to the manager about the disruptions & negativity from this review writer. We invite questions & expect questions when you train for a job because we hire many people without any experience. What we don't expect is when someone who is training for a job falls asleep during training, argues with the manager conducting training when she tries to answer questions from other people in the training class, and essentially makes the work environment toxic for others who want to be here & be successful. Of the 3 other trainees, none of them felt they were yelled at & all felt welcomed & supported but all 3 also felt the manager had more patience than they would have with this employee who wrote the review. In the review it is mentioned that the manager asked the 3 other trainees if they wanted to leave but the reality is that our manager asked the person writing this review to either start taking the job training seriously or if she didn't want to do well at the job she may as well decide to leave because without the proper training & attitude, she would fail. And lastly, in the 2 days that this person wasted our manager's time, there was 0% turnover, all new hires from her class are still with the company as well as the other new hire that was in another department. The only turnover was the person actually writing this review who clearly has a negative spin on everything. Speaking to the person writing this review - we hope you can find a way to start seeing the positive side of things & find a job that you'll take seriously. Obviously not every job is a good fit for every employee & we're sorry that you did not feel as positive about the opportunity as the rest of your training class but we feel you didn't give the job, our company, or yourself a fair chance.
