Pros

High quality practice with the most highly trained sub-specialists in the state. Collegial atmosphere. We help each other. Great benefits and flexible work options. Opportunity to augment income significantly over base salary by working extra shifts. Opportunity to teach residents, student CRNAs, and medical students. We work with a great group of CRNAs and do our own case, as well. Full range of case loads and case mix-- from highly complex to bread and butter. Very high quality surgeons at all our institutions.

Cons

Busy practice. You will never be bored.

Pros

Interesting and varied work. Great colleagues. Growing company with lots of support to grow oneself clinically and as a leader. Short time to partnership. Really great benefits and perks. Teaching and research opportunities. Best practice in the state. Opportunity to earn very high income right out of residency or CRNA school.

Cons

Not really any downside. There is a great culture here.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to work in whatever area of clinical interest that you like. The group covers multiple sites and encompasses a mix of ambulatory and hospital based sites, with a mix of supervising and solo cases for anesthesiologists. So far I have enjoyed the variety. Workload is very fair with opportunities for extra call and compensation if desired. The group is also very open to practice improvement and there are opportunities for leadership and advancement within the group and the health system. The group is growing and expanding as well.

Cons

Mix of multiple sites and mix of solo/supervising/teaching may not be for everyone. Having said that, the group is Accommodating with scheduling people to work at the sites and with clinical areas of interest as much as possible.
