Pros

Co-workers are wonderful and dedicated people despite the fact we are treated so terribly.

Cons

Out of the hundreds of government contracts running admissions and transitional services for students in the Job Corps program across the country, Insights pays their staff the least. On average, $8k to $10k less annually than those performing the same exact jobs. Goals are set unrealistically high and only benefit management while harming the quality and success of the program. The Human Resource department is there solely to protect the unfair and inappropriate behavior of management. HR refuses to have verbal discussions with employees and rarely respond to requests for help.

Pros

Love the staff and students. They are a joy to work along.

Cons

This corporate company thrives on micromanagement, routinely belittling employees while conducting trainings that feel more like coded messages than actual guidance, you’re left with countless questions but no clear place to begin. The work itself is unnecessarily redundant, requiring tasks to be completed in two different ways, even though one method is already fully compliant with the PRH and more than sufficient. The result is confusion, inefficiency, and frustration rather than productivity or support.
