Pros

There are lots of trainings and junk food (if that sounds good to you) all the time. Young and diverse population mostly new graduates and all kind of nationalities. English is the main language that you have opportunity to practice your english almost everyday. They make you to learn super fast about company, its culture and technology which is great for 21st century world. Fast growing, multinational, tech company where you can learn and leave as quickly as possible. Also they may pay low but if you need place to sleep, they offer you an apartment which is full of other employees, may be good for you.

Cons

If you want to work day and night including weekends, even national holidays you are more than welcome to insider. There is no extra payment for your overtime but you have to work overtime. Working hours: 10am - 8pm and there are always a training or a meeting after 8pm and if you dont join, they warn you. Co-founders set meeting at nights or weekends without any hesitate even until 1-2 am at night. They dont respect your work-life balance at all and they call this; insider culture and they say; leave if you dont like it. Salaries are very low and they also pay bonus payments by hand - not through bank, so there is no record on that.... no private health insurance, no parking area for your car, messy toilets, awful food, packed messy and overloaded working space, never fresh coffee or a tea, no company car that you have to take bus or subway while going to your customers. But instead they are giving you; free access to spotify, udemy and blinkist and also daily fruit and sometimes happy hours (free warm beer and cheap junk food)' wowww!!! They promote sleeping less, they always mention that co-founders are sleeping 3hours daily. Some co-founders believe only people who are unhappy in their jobs got married or got boyfriends/girlfriends. If you say you cant go gym because of excessive working hours, they suggest you to sleep less to have time for gym. %80 of the employees are new graduate and %80 of the managers are first time manager, basically there is no knowhow or experience. Turnover rate is super high, most people quit before 1year. There are lots of gossip and also those who wants to become a shareholder or be close to co-founders can complain about you at anytime, so, you must be stay quiet and act as you are a fan of insider or you may even die for your company. they always push you to promote company, vote for it, share post about it etc, if you dont do so they may e-mail you 100times about it, so basically there are many fake comments in here too. Employees are actually super friendly and helpful but most of the time they are too tired and sleepy. Generally, you have 15 min for lunch and 15 min for dinner and many people eat while working as no one respects to your meal times and put a meeting or training on that times. Insider is def diverse company as they have multi-national employees but never diverse according to mindset as they dont want you to talk anything they may not like (never about culture especially). They set monthly KPIs and if you cannot achieve more that %80 of it, you basically cant earn your illegal bonus, even you do so if you miss the due date of KPI realization, co-founders may reject to pay you for that month. there is always rush, stress and punishment but dont worry there is 1 hour chit-chat with your manager monthly where you can talk about your unhappiness and you can basically relief. They promote you spend all your time with insider community, they want you to stay at least 10-12 hours at office, stay at their apartments, go out with them on weekends, attend to their each and every event so that you can lose all other communities you have and easily be under their control. Last but not the least, they promote their shareholder system and they offer you a small share after 1 year if you fulfill all the criterias (real harsh ones) but actually you cannot get your share before the company is sold and if you leave the company before that you basically have nothing but they never mention this while promoting. They are far too nationalist, they try to boost Turkey love but def fake one, they only motivate you with nationalist acts to make you work excessively with low conditions and cheap ways. They believe they are the ones who can rescue Turkey and they say you have to work hard without complain in order to save Turkey, nonsense?? Overall, i suggest you to stay away and if you dont believe me i insist you to read my writing to any employee at insider and ask if i am lying :)

Hello, I've felt deeply sorry to read this. Thank you for the feedback but I don't think you're being fair writing this review. I'll try to give an answer to your feedbacks one by one. It's true that we work hard. Working hard is one of our core values. We go the extra mile because we know that great things never come from comfort zones. However, there is something you are missing, we also play hard. We take yoga classes every week. We learn how to make terrarium together. We organize oscar movie nights, where we watch and criticize the movies together. We organize table tennis tournaments. There are "cross coffee" and "cross drink" activities where we get to hang out with Insiders from different departments randomly in groups every week. Personal growth is also one of our core values. There are plenty of opportunities to grow at Insider such as on-going educational sessions and training including Sales training from our VP of Partners Success Team, Digital Marketing, Design 101, Customer Success, Entrepreneurship, Google Analytics, culture presentations, coding classes(from our CTO), tech talks. Here is a photo of our CEO, Co-founders, and Heads at our Leadership University with our team members:) https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6473151410593624064 As one of our Digital Growth Director pointed out in the replies below, "I find our bonus structure very satisfying and fruitful", we have a competitive salary and fruitful bonus structure. Insider is a hyper-growth startup. Last year, our team increased from 200 to 400 people around the world, spanning 19 offices in Europe, Nordics and the Asia Pacific, including Tokyo, Seoul, Sydney, London, and more. There are 41 different nationalities at Insider! We're always trying hard to provide our team members a diverse and welcoming community in a multicultural environment. We also have a new team member as a Global Mobility Specialist. She'll be responsible for the happiness and comfort of our team members. She will be our Global Mobility Specialist and handle all the mobility processes between our offices, and take care of work permit issues and keep Insider's diversity alive. Here's my post about our Global Mobility Specialist on Linkedin. https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6517070198145716224 We believe in exploring a culture by trying new foods, learning about their history and traditions not only enriches us individually but also as a community. Here is a photo of our culture presentation sessions. Our Japan Team is teaching us how to make sushi:) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bv1Vzg2l4aL/ We work together as a family to build this company. Everyone is expected to act as an owner and grow fast. We are a small and fast growing team from across the world( from London to Tokyo, Singapore to Moscow, 19 regions to be exact!) and keep flat hierarchies for maximum impact. We help each other, teach each other, and learn from each other. We believe that world-class performance is a byproduct of an empowered, well-trained, and happy team. We care about each other, and the world we live in. Here is how our family looks like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2AeBmexQog Insider is a young start-up, we both have experienced and inexperienced team members. If you're looking for personal growth, the upside is that Insider is a dynamic, fast evolving environment, which values initiative. It is great for figuring out what you're best at and excelling in it. So if you want to grow personally and professionally, this is the place for you. Hear from our country manager for Korea about what initially drew him to Insider. https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6519876140847501312 We use feedback to help make Insider a great place to work for truly everyone. Our CEO regularly organizes Ask me Anything (AMA) sessions. AMA sessions are one and a half hour long Q&A sessions. Insiders get to ask whatever’s on their mind to our CEO during these sessions. Topics include both company-related and personal questions. Our CEO answers all questions transparently. We use a "Satisfaction and Net Promoter Survey" tool which enables us to hear everyone out.Insiders give their insights into their departments. Every comment is evaluated by our CEO and CEO's Team and then Heads and Country Managers share the action points. Besides, everyone has 1&1 meetings with their Heads regularly. I agree with you that anyone can ask any questions to our team members at Insider. Also, anyone who'd like to visit our regional offices, they're welcome. Candidates experience our culture and office environment in our recruiting process. Thank you for the feedback but I don't think you're being fair writing this review. We always take feedback seriously, it's a really important way for us to continue to improve and grow.

Pros

1. The product demos well and, on paper, includes many features enterprise brands are looking for across personalization, lifecycle marketing, and customer engagement. 2. There are hardworking people across sales, SDR, marketing, onboarding, and support who are trying to do good work and support customers despite a challenging environment.

Cons

1. Commission is not handled in a clear or reliable way. The commission plan is not clearly written and is not consistently followed. Salespeople who close business will spend significant time disputing compensation they earned. 2. There is a noticeable gap between what is positioned during the sales process and what product, onboarding, and support teams are able to consistently deliver. This creates tension internally and disappointment for customers after signature. 3. The US sales motion is difficult due to limited client references, product gaps, and pressure to over-position capabilities in order to win deals. 4. The culture normalizes burnout and employee frustration. One comment from the CRO and co-founder during an AMA stood out: “You should want to quit Insider at least once a quarter. Once you want to quit three times a quarter, we can look at the problem.”
