Pros
There are no real pros to working at Infosys anymore. The brand name means very little when the internal work culture is broken and employee well-being is ignored.
Cons
Despite it being 2025, Infosys still operates with a backward, outdated mindset. Extremely low pay compared to industry standards, especially given the amount of work expected. Micromanagement is rampant, with little to no flexibility or trust in employees. Work-life balance is practically nonexistent — long hours are normalized. Management is hierarchical, with decisions often made by those out of touch with day-to-day realities. Career growth is slow and largely dependent on internal politics rather than merit. Very little innovation; you're expected to follow processes blindly, not improve them. Extremely rigid hierarchy with little room for innovation or questioning authority. Promotions and salary hikes are very slow, regardless of performance. Work-life balance is almost nonexistent, especially if you're on a support project. Management often lacks transparency and effective communication. Onsite opportunities are limited and often based on favoritism.
